I am amazed as I take a "birds-eye" view of our nation over the years since 9/11/01. Americans were exploded out of their complacency by the most violent terrorist attack our nation has ever experienced. Losing life is only part of the effect that day has had. Each year, we pause to remember that day. We publish logos that say, "Never Forget." But what do we take time to remember?
- I would like for our nation to remember the loss of life we suffered, and the grief families endure today.
- I would like for our nation to remember the assault on our way of life, which has never been the same since that day.
- I would like for our nation to remember the God we have forsaken as we try to be "politically correct."
- I would like for our nation to remember our history, and the principles that made our nation great.
- I would like for our nation to remember our response to this day, and how we are now calling Islam a friend rather than a foe.
- I would like for our nation to remember our constitution, and the men and women who fight every day to defend it from all enemies-foreign AND domestic.
- I would like for our nation to remember that we are Americans, and we are ONE NATION under God.
- I would like for our nation to remember the symbols of our greatness that were attacked: our Financial center (World Trade Center), our Military (Pentagon), and the failed attempt at our Government (White House or Capitol Building, where ever the last plane was headed).
In the process, let us realize that we are NOT better off just because we have not suffered another attack of this magnitude. Neither are we better off because we have chosen to keep the battle on the "other side of the world." We have a weakend nation now. Let us call it like it is so we can address the reality, not the mirage created by those who want to be "Politically Correct." We cannot become a strong nation again until we do so.
Our military is degraded by policies and practices instituted by America's first "Muslim" President. I know that's not technically correct, but some Americans are proud (as he is) of his Muslim heritage. "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" is repealed by executive order rather than by Congressional Act that put it there.
Our economic condition is degraded as we continue to experience the economic downturns that the cost of inappropriate retaliation measures has cost us - and our lack of clarity as to how to recover from those downturns.
Our government is degraded as we continue to have a nation divided down the middle - those who want to make things right and those who want to continue in what's left of the "Political Correct" direction of descent into anarchy and chaos. We now have a President who is a documented student of Marxism. We have chosen to make our enemies seem like our friends, offering them ridiculous sums of money we don't have to purchase arms and train soldiers to kill our people. We have gridlock in Congress because of this divide. We also have a degraded government because our "Political Correctness" has convinced so many that to be "Christian" is somehow dangerous and those who are should be silenced; all while all other forms of religious expression are honored-we have left the God our nation served since 1776, and called that "Progress." Government considers itself as greater because it has expanded. But with the increased bureacracy we move closer to Socialism and further from freedom. Our freedoms given in the first two Constitutional amendments are under direct threat by a government who thinks they, not God, determine what our "rights" as citizens are. Our government is degraded by the faulty idea that citizens serve it. Our constitution clearly states that our government serves the people. Any idea to the contrary is an enemy of our constitution. We must defend ourselves against such ideas - for they are domestic enemies of our nation and way of life!
This September 11th, let us "Never Forget" these things - for remembering is meaningless if it does not cause us to also consider the consequences.

What do we mean by, "Never Forget"?
